Solution

From the given information, we can deduce the following:

  1. B has scored more than 2 marks.
  2. C has scored more marks than A and B combined.
  3. A's score is the same as D and E's scores combined.
  4. A has scored more marks than B.
  5. No two people have scored the same marks.
  6. D scored more marks than B.

From points 1 and 4, we know that A and B have scored more than 2 marks.

From point 2, we know that C has scored more than A and B combined, so C definitely didn't score the lowest.

From point 3, we know that A's score is the same as D and E's scores combined. Since no two people have scored the same marks (point 5), D and E must have scored less than A.

From point 6, we know that D scored more marks than B. So, B must have scored the least marks among A, B, D, and E.

Therefore, B scored the lowest marks.
