It also involves supervising children during activities to prevent accidents and injuries.

Promoting Health and Well-being: Another important duty of care is promoting the health and well-being of the students. This can involve providing nutritious meals, ensuring regular physical activity, and teaching children about good hygiene practices. It also includes monitoring the children for signs of illness or distress and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Supporting Emotional and Social Development: Support teachers and early childhood education workers also have a responsibility to support the emotional and social development of the students. This involves creating a positive and supportive learning environment, helping children to develop social skills, and providing emotional support when needed. It also includes identifying any signs of emotional distress or social difficulties and working with other professionals to provide appropriate support.
