Where are metals located on the periodic table?

Metals are located on the left and center of the periodic table. The periodic table is divided into several blocks:

1. The "s-block" includes alkali metals and alkaline earth metals. They are found on the far left of the periodic table.

2. The "d-block" includes transition metals. They are found in the middle of the periodic table.

3. The "p-block" includes post-transition metals. They are found on the right side of the periodic table, but not the far right.
