Throughout the term, we have learned a lot together. We have focused on effectively navigating UoPeople courses, understanding the process and impact of peer assessment, and examining and developing key learning skills such as critical thinking and self-directed learning. We have also worked to understand and apply important strategies for reading, studying, APA citations and references, time management, stress management, and test management. For your last journal entry, reflect on the different things you have learned over the term. Then, in a 300-500-word journal entry (at least 300 words but no more than 500 words), answer the following: 1. What was the most useful strategy you learned during this course? How will you apply this strategy in your future studies here at UoPeople? 2. What was the most surprising thing you learned this term? Why did it surprise you? 3. Peer assessment is a unique education model. Think back to how you felt about peer assessment at the beginning of the term, and compare that to your feelings now. How have your feelings changed? Are you more comfortable with peer assessment? Have you learned something new while assessing your peer’s work? Banks, M. (2015, October 5). Solution

Sure, here is an example of how you might answer these questions:

  1. The most useful strategy I learned during this course was time management. I learned how to prioritize my tasks and allocate time effectively to each of them. This strategy has been instrumental in helping me balance my studies with other responsibilities. I plan to apply this strategy in my future studies at UoPeople by creating a study schedule at the beginning of each term and sticking to it. This will help me ensure that I am dedicating enough time to each of my courses and assignments.

  2. The most surprising thing I learned this term was the importance of peer assessment. I was initially skeptical about the effectiveness of this method, but I was surprised to find that it was a valuable learning tool. It surprised me because it challenged my preconceived notions about learning and showed me that we can learn a lot from our peers.

  3. At the beginning of the term, I was unsure about peer assessment. I was worried about the quality of feedback I would receive and whether I would be able to provide useful feedback to my peers. However, over the course of the term, my feelings have changed. I have become more comfortable with peer assessment and have found it to be a valuable learning tool. Assessing my peers' work has helped me improve my own work by giving me a new perspective and helping me understand different approaches to the same task.

Remember, these are just examples and your answers should reflect your own experiences and learning during the course.
