Esta semana, o objetivo é refletir sobre o compromisso com a verdade científica. Para isso, devemos ler o discurso intitulado "A Busca por Toda a Verdade" do Presidente Kevin J Worthen, proferido na BYU em janeiro de 2017. O desafio é escrever alguns parágrafos onde relatamos nossas próprias experiências ao determinar a verdade por meio do estudo e da fé neste curso. Como nossa fé no Salvador tem crescido ao conduzir nosso próprio estudo de pesquisa?
Ao longo deste curso, tenho tido a oportunidade de mergulhar em diferentes áreas de estudo e explorar questões que me intrigam. Através da pesquisa e do estudo diligente, tenho buscado a verdade em assuntos que são importantes para mim. No entanto, descobri que a verdade não é apenas encontrada por meio do conhecimento acadêmico, mas também através da fé.
Ao conduzir minha própria pesquisa, tenho sido desafiado a confiar no Senhor e a buscar orientação espiritual. Tenho aprendido que a verdade não se limita apenas ao que podemos provar cientificamente, mas também inclui uma compreensão mais profunda e espiritual. Minha fé no Salvador tem crescido à medida que confio em Sua sabedoria e direção ao realizar minha pesquisa.
Além disso, ao estudar e pesquisar assuntos relacionados à minha fé, tenho experimentado momentos de confirmação espiritual. Às vezes, enquanto estudo as escrituras ou oro por entendimento, sinto uma paz e uma certeza interior de que estou no caminho certo. Essas experiências têm fortalecido minha fé no Salvador e me incentivado a continuar buscando a verdade em todas as áreas da minha vida.
Em resumo, minha experiência de determinar a verdade por meio do estudo e da fé neste curso tem sido transformadora. Tenho aprendido a confiar no Senhor e a buscar orientação espiritual ao conduzir minha própria pesquisa.
