Solution

Type 1 Diabetes: This type of diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the body's immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas. As a result, the body produces little to no insulin. It usually develops in childhood or adolescence, but can also develop in adults.

Type 2 Diabetes: This is the most common type of diabetes. It occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin or doesn't make enough insulin. As a result, glucose builds up in the blood instead of being absorbed by the cells. This type of diabetes is often associated with obesity and usually develops in adults, but can also occur in children.

Gestational Diabetes: This type of diabetes occurs in some women during pregnancy. During pregnancy, the placenta makes hormones that can lead to a buildup of glucose in your blood. Usually, your pancreas can make enough insulin to handle that. If not, your blood sugar levels will rise and can cause gestational diabetes. It usually goes away after the baby is born, but it does increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life.
