Solution

  1. Structure of Pancreas: The pancreas is a long, flat gland located in the abdomen, behind the stomach. It is made up of two main types of cells: exocrine cells and endocrine cells. Exocrine cells make up about 95% of the pancreas and produce enzymes that are released into the small intestine to help digest food. Endocrine cells are grouped together in small clusters known as islets of Langerhans and produce hormones like insulin and glucagon that regulate blood sugar levels.

  2. Structure of Ovary: The ovaries are a pair of small, almond-shaped organs located on either side of the uterus in females. Each ovary is divided into two parts: the cortex and the medulla. The cortex is the outer part and is where the eggs are produced and matured in structures called follicles. The medulla is the inner part and contains blood vessels and connective tissue.

  3. Structure of Testis: The testes are a pair of oval-shaped organs located in the scrotum in males. Each testis is made up of a series of tightly coiled tubes called seminiferous tubules where sperm are produced. These tubules are surrounded by a layer of tissue called the tunica albuginea. The testes also contain cells called Leydig cells that produce testosterone.

  4. Structure of Adrenal Gland: The adrenal glands are small, triangular-shaped glands located on top of the kidneys. Each adrenal gland is divided into two parts: the adrenal cortex and the adrenal medulla. The adrenal cortex is the outer part and produces hormones like cortisol and aldosterone. The adrenal medulla is the inner part and produces hormones like adrenaline and noradrenaline.
