Assessment 2 - Digital Story and Paper Students are required to produce a 5 minute (4.5mins to 5.5 mins) Digital Story based on their reading and research on the topic: Deficit discourses, Virtual Schoolbags, Turn Around Pedagogies and Teaching. Whilst you do not have to cover all three concepts, you must explicitly engage at least two. The video is to be accompanied by a 1080-1320 (1200) word paper that needs to be prepared using the the pro-forma provided below. There are detailed submission notes provided on this Moodle site. Due 30th March by 11.59pm. Students are required to produce a Digital Story based on their sociological reading and research on the topic: Deficit discourses, Virtual Schoolbags, Turn Around Pedagogies and Teaching. Students are encouraged to emphasise research-based pedagogical initiatives/responses to the issues posed in the video. Adequate time should be provided, in the video, to outlining these initiatives/responses. Don’t rush this part of the video.
