Solution

The angle between an incident ray and the normal is called the Angle of Incidence. This angle is measured from the normal to the incident ray, in the plane that the ray and normal define. The normal is a line perpendicular (at 90 degrees) to the surface at the point of incidence where the ray strikes the surface.
