Solution

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Sign Up: The first step is to sign up for the assessment. This should be done in the first or second week of class. Usually, there will be a sign-up sheet or online form provided by your teacher.

  2. Prepare Your Document: Next, you need to prepare your document. This should include your introduction and creative work. Make sure to follow any guidelines provided by your teacher regarding formatting, length, and content.

  3. Submit to Discussions: Once your document is ready, you need to submit it to the class discussions. This is usually done through an online platform like Blackboard or Canvas. This allows your classmates to access and read your work before the class.

  4. Submit to Assignments via Turnitin: In addition to submitting your work to the class discussions, you also need to submit it to Assignments via Turnitin. This is a plagiarism detection service that your teacher will use to check your work. You will likely need to upload your document to the Turnitin website or submit it through your school's online platform.

  5. Deadline: Make sure to submit your work at least 3 days or 72 hours before your scheduled class. This gives your classmates and teacher enough time to review your work.

  6. Double Check: Finally, double-check that you have submitted your work to both the class discussions and Assignments via Turnitin. Your work will not be considered as submitted unless it is submitted to both.

Each week (starting in Week 3) a group of two to four students will present the material from supplementary readings that were assigned for the previous week. The aims of the presentations are to: 1) summarise and highlight important content from the readings, and 2) encourage discussion of the material in tutorials. Students will be assessed on the quality of the presentations and the facilitation of the ensuing discussion. Students will receive a marking rubric during the first tutorial, which outlines the specific criteria upon which they will be evaluated. The presentation roster will be scheduled in the first week of tutorials. Students’ presentation slides may be uploaded on Moodle.

: Week 8 - Discussion Forum by Anyieth Garang - Tuesday, 4 June 2024, 2:42 PM The preparation for exams begins right from the day class lectures commence. This preparation happen before exams through frequent attending classes, doing reading assignments and taking notes, doing formative tests as required, group participation to ensure you share your thoughts with other colleagues. After all the class activities that gear towards succeeding in tests or exams, I have to make sure I review notes from classes and research, arrive early to exam room or take test before deadline to avoid last minute panic. So during the exam or test, I have to read the entire questions to understand them well. This allows to identify the questions that can save your time and motivate for the other questions that make up the exams. Reading exam question twice or more helps identify stem of the question and this helps in thinking critically for right answers. Others include having reliable source of power and internet for online exams and tests. Anxiety is always experienced by anybody going to do any tests or exams, only for some people is excessive and start to dodge exams. I experience it but the first thing I do is to read while taking notes, seek clarification on topics that I do understand something either from instructor or student. This helps to avoid blaming myself. When approaching test, I review my notes and speak to myself that the exam or instructor isn’t there to fail me but to test my progress.
