Solution

The Pyloric sphincter regulates the passage of food from the stomach to the duodenum. This muscular valve controls the flow of partially digested food - known as chyme - from the stomach to the small intestine. When food is ready to leave the stomach, the pyloric sphincter opens to let it pass into the duodenum, the first part of the small intestine.
