In particular, we are interested in instances where the subject of the rumor deny's it using humor. We would like you to make up your own example of a rumor that is circulating about a fictional character and over the next few pages of the survey we will ask you some questions about the rumor including how and why you might respond with humor to this rumor.Try to put yourself in the shoes of the fictional character and think about how you might respond in this situation.   We will then ask you to describe your example by answering the following types of questions over the next few pages of the survey...   1] Who is the rumor about?
