This campus is perfect for " the college experience", but it also makes you feel at home
Overall 4.4
Amazing school. Smaller community of people so you get to know more people quickly!!

small campus

The Math Lab is impressive. You won't get this kind of personal attention at most other colleges. The classes are small and personal. Most of my teachers have had PhDs from great schools & have made me feel like they really care. It is a great school to get started in. I have learned a lot & am 100% positive I am getting an exalent education.

I love UNG Oconee! It is small campus, and I do wish there were more food options around. However, I think it has a lot of charm! Most of the staff I've interacted with has been wonderful, especially the Dean of Students! I'm also in the art program, so a lot of my classes are at the off-campus studio, and I love taking classes there!

This campus offers lots of time with faculty for support in core classes. It is a small campus and things slow down after 9-5 for student activities. However, Athens is close and has lots of things to enjoy. I did well in my classes here and would recommend it to other students.

Nothing good to say

Dont go here because you think your friends at UGA are going to hang out with you. That lasts a month. If they are around its because they arent doing as expected at UGA either socially or academically and when they hang out with you they feel better about themselves because lets face it as bad as they feel at least they dont go to oconee.

I started when it was GSC and ever since it became UNG everything has now become terrible. I use to love it when it was GSC but since the merger nobody wants to help you find information. Do anything and everything to avoid going to this school!!!!
Overall 1.1
This is a school for people who want to transfer to UGA. Students here are not very friendly and campus life is a joke. The library is closed on weekends and at 8 weekdays. Most of the professors here are on a power trip because they know they can keep you from getting into UGA. Tell people dt that you go to GSC, and you'll be judged. I hated GSC!
Overall 1.2
I came to this campus due to my acceptance to UGA being in the spring of 2022. While this campus is small and okay for getting core classes out of the way, there is no social life here, clubs, or anyway to get involved on campus. While there are some awesome professors, the campus is alright for dual enrollment and getting credits to transfer.

awful school
Overall 1.3
only wanted to go to this school until spring where I would go to uga this place is a scam, hey rip people off with their tuition. they also lie about everything. communication between staff and student is terrible. place has no social life at all. also I wanted to do research for med school, but they have literally nothing at this campus. don't go

University?This is a community college.
Overall 1.4
If your idea of the college experience is going to class with high schoolers and losers pretending they go to UGA this is the place for you.
Overall 1.4
All the UGA rejects go here. I was here for dual enrollment, now that I'm done I'm running and never looking back.
