Great campus. Great social scene. Excellent GameDays. Professors who care.

I really like UNL. I love the events, campus and people here are really kind.
Overall 5
Great school, had the best experience of my life here. The only thing I regret is not being more involved and breaking out of my shell earlier.

This school is the place to be. It is more affordable than most Big Ten universities and you get what you pay for. My only advice is to check if your professor is any good at his teaching job besides that you are set.
Overall 5
Time I've been in here is so memorable. Everything for me is excellent, especially professors and advisors' help. A lot of club to to join. Facilities are good in classrooms and health center. You have a plenty of choices in having food. Many good events

Amazing classrooms, food, and dorms. The social life is awesome too. Easy to make friends.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Staff behavior often felt unhelpful, and there was a lack of inclusivity for students who didn't fit a certain appearance. I also experienced invasions of personal space and what seemed like stalking behavior, which made my time there uncomfortable.
Overall 1
Horrible school with even worse staff.
Overall 1.7
Campus is nice, BUT nothing to do on weekends. Students go home on weekends. Events are hosted at City and East (40 minute walk) campuses with limited evening transportation options. I have religion, but 6 weeks of Big Red Welcome consists of daily repeat Christian meet-up groups; not a balance of university organized events. No diversity.
Overall 1.8
Awful professors. Every teacher I had was either awful at teaching or refused to answer questions or hold office hours. The CAST office is pretty good. Utilize SI sessions and tutors or life will be difficult. VERY HARD to get a straight answer at UNL. FOOD IS AWFUL! LEARNING COMMUNITIES ARE A JOKE. BAD advisors! I'm transferring after 1 semester.
