Good reviews

I didn't realize how superb UAS was until I transferred to my home college (major down grade). The area is breath taking. I miss walking to class everyday. Great facilities. Good bus lines and the town it self is perfect. Lots of summer work if you decide to stick around. You wont regret going to this school. Oh and it sits on a lake!
Bad reviews

School? More like a struggle session center. Facilities were lacking, faculty always had an agenda outside of setting me up for success in the world, food was terrible (only 1 option). Dorms were nice, but were old and had lots of stains everywhere. The shower was disgusting.
It's not all bad I guess, the scenery of Southeast Alaska is beautiful

The location is the only thing going for this college now since they are deciding to cut all the interesting degree programs. Goodbye CIOS, goodbye programming.
