SFA isn't just a college, it's also a community. The faculty and staff are super nice and very helpful. The scenery of the college is breathtaking. No one at SFA is judged, you can truly be yourself here. Not only is the college top tier, but the clubs and bars are amazing places to hangout with friends. I have had so much fun at SFA!
Overall 5
Great college, met the best people, learn a lot, and had a lot of fun. Go, there are trees and you can focus on studying and learning. Only a few hours from anywhere in Texas, so if you want to see your parents or girlfriend, you can drive there on a weekend.

Great place and even better one-o-one networks

Absolutely love SFA. Came up and got into a Fraternity. I absolutely love the Greek life here at SFASU. Amazing people and beautiful campus.

SFA is amazing in every aspect
Overall 4.7
I love SFA. I majored in social work and the program is amazing. Most of the faculty is amazing, some profesors suck but you will find that at any school. I feel safe and respected here. The cafeteria is mid and the food options aren't great but everything is bare minimum ok, plus there's great food options around the campus
Overall 4.5
Amazing campus! I love SFASU. We have the best basketball team and other sports except for football. SFA isn't expensive it only cost $4,000 and something for 12 credit hours.
Overall 4.4
Top 3 reasons I love SFA. 1.) Professors-here you can meet and talk to your professors and actually build personal relationships with them. THIS MATTERS PEOPLE! 2.) Location- Nac has so many outdoor activities and you can get so involved with the community. 3.) Safety- SFA is rated one of the safest universities in Texas and the nation
Bad reviews

If you graduate from SFA you will not receive any funding or scholarships when you apply for grad school. They treat outside applicants way better, pretty sad. The town has very limited food options unless you love fast food. There is also alot of young drivers that do not pay attention while driving. Generally students are super rude.
Overall 1.4
Ugh. Hate this place so much. My advisor messed up everything which put me a year back. 5 years of hell. She convinced me to stay since I was so far into my degree plan. Nope. Should've left. Go here if you want to go to a school that loses every sporting event, want nothing to do, and no where to go eat. Literally in the middle of no where.
Overall 1.8
I wish I had gone to a different school.
Overall 1.9
Do not go here unless you absolutely have to. The School of Nursing is one of the worst places I have ever been. They only think about their pass rate and will do anything and everything to protect that. I wasted a year and a half here only for them to kick me to the curb with no assistance.
Overall 1.9
SFA seems beautiful, because of the trees. Do not be fooled. Its pretty exterior is a lie. If you are a liberal, run to civilization. I have my good friends here I will say that, and SFA isn't a bad school. I left though, I was not down.

Honestly the school isn’t too bad. food is terrible. there’s nothing to really do in nac. it’s more of “suitcase” university.

Lumberyard is the place to go to party, and Banita is real country. SFA is NOT out of state or international student friendly and when break rolls around it will be so difficult. There are almost no on campus activities and when there are, they suck. But they have a great rec center, and Tyler is always 1hr and 30mins away if you want to have fun.
