In the dear old Cumberland Valley sits one of the best state schools with a beautiful campus, rail trail, and nearby Michaux State Forest and AT. Endless opportunities; get involved! Move off-campus when you can, great options not far. Amazing professors & people who truly care about your education and well-being. An experience I won't soon forget.

Ship is def a 4/5 school in my eyes. Not really too close to anywhere major but has a good community feel. Making friends is very easy here, since everyone is typically nice. Join clubs, go to sporting events, even just walking around the cub or shiprec u will meet people. Try and get flex, Reisner is hit or miss but typically pretty solid.

People kind of look down on the school because the accept 97% of people who apply so a lot of them drop out. The school is a PASSHE school, has intelligent and dedicated professors, and lots of opportunities.

I grew in this town and now i'm attending college here, so i know the area is pretty quiet and boring but the atmosphere of this campus is very good and the people here are great. i love SU!

My experience with Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania has been disappointing. The administration is unresponsive and disorganized, causing many delays and frustrations. Communication from the registrar's office is poor, with important information often missing or late. Overall, I expected better support and efficiency.

The social life at Ship is practically non-existent. The houses around campus are all in very poor condition. The parties get old after you go to like three of them and keep seeing the same people. The police on campus will arrest you and give you an underage before you leave your first year. Go to a real school. So happy I left this town.
