I can't actually rate the food, I've never eaten it. I've been here for years, but never tried it. They do donate all their leftover food to local shelters, so I love that. The staff is great, a couple exceptions, but that's everywhere. It's the safest school out there. I have never felt so included in my life. The education department is the best.

I love Shenandoah so much, there's so many opportunities here and everyone is family. Your professors are the nicest people you will ever meet and you are certainly set up for success. Not going to say its easy... college shouldn't be, but you have everything you need here to be your best self. Love it here :)

Shenandoah University has a lot of culture and a lot of positive personality! All the classes are small so you really get to know the professor! There are a lot of opportunities to get involved with on campus and there is always something going on at SU! - RTB EXSC major c/o 2020

Absolutely amazing university
Overall 4.3
The biggest things that I love about this University is the caring faculty/staff, and the sense of family. Ive felt more welcomed here in just 3 or 4 visits than I have the past 2 years at my current, small community college. This is an Academic School, if your looking for parties, your looking at the wrong school! Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet!

Overall, Shenandoah University is a good place to obtain higher education. Probably the worst thing is the food at Allen dining hall. The best is probably the clean facilities and exceptional faculty and staff.
Overall 4.2
Shenandoah University is an AMAZING university if you want a hands-on learning experience. While it has its downsides (the food could be a little nicer, and a few of the instructors need a course in organizing), this university is perfect for anyone that wants a small campus with instructors that really care about your education.

I am very happy I picked to go here for my 4 years. It is rapidly changing for the better and I can not wait to see where it is in another few years.

As a transfer student, I fell in love with the campus the first time I toured it! The sense of welcoming and family is amazing! I proudly call myself a Shenandoah University Hornet!

The school only cares about certain departments and ignores others especially in the Conservatory. Policies are not enforced equally with certain demographics getting preferential treatment. Office staff has not been trained thus record keeping is poor. Professors do not reply to students emails and some do not show up to teach their classes.

Thank God I am getting out of here at the end of this year. It has been a horrible 4 years, I'm so sorry my hard working parents helped me pay for this school. The dorms are very old, run down. The education is awful for the price and is taught by (mostly) rude and unavailable professors. Better educations can be had at a community college. :-(

Very poor quality for the high tuition cost.Nothing works in the labs, and the materials are very old.The prof's are very discourteous to students.Their attitude is one of indifference. The overall attitude is about keeping the schools rating up via successful ATI testing which has nothing to do with grades.I wish I knew this before I paid tuition!

Don't go here. It's not worth it. Shenandoah University is where dreams go to die.

This school is horrible especially when it comes to teaching science. I've met few professors that I absolutely loved but Many professors are very rude. After being here for 4years I came to the conclusion that the administration at the school just doesnt care. keep yourself, your love ones, and your money away from this school.
