I choose Cobleskill for Plant Science and it was the best decision I could have made. Location can be tough if your not living on or near campus, the campus is beyond beautiful. Networking has been tremendous especially after graduation. My professor's were knowledgeable and still to this day are helpful. I highly recommend.

There is no category this school excels in besides wasting taxpayer money and their students, faculty, and staff's time. The place is a swindle and a travesty. Do not go here unless you have no respect for yourself and wish to be isolated among a bunch of crooks and ingrates. If there were any justice in the world this school would be shuttered.

SUNY Cobleskill is now worth a penny. While the location is nice, the education is third-rate. Peers are less than desirable, drug and std rates are dangerously high, and on campus prices for anything (supplies, vending, laundry, food, ect...) are through the roof. I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my children there knowing what I know today!

Garbage campus but has some very good professors
Overall 1.3
Poorly maintained, network infrastructure is severely outdated. Food is horrible. No career support / placement office. Does not cater to students.

I transfered to this school to get my BT in Equine Science because it is close to home. I should have researched other Equine schools before rushing and choosing this one. There is NOTHING to do in town, Everyone visits Albany or Oneonta and ends up transfering out to one of them...NOT A PARTY SCHOOL= lame. & Staff /faculty get mixed reviews.

So I've been here for three years & can say I'm really to leave. Traveling to & from the city puts a dent in your pocket. & is completely unsafe during the winter, fully expecting people to go to class in a snow storm. I've learned nothing that I couldn't learn from a 15 min tutorial. This school just sucks all around. DON'T GO HERE!
