I love Point Loma! Aside from the amazing location, the professors really make an effort to get to know you which actually helps me do better in my classes.

The community is awesome here. Best decision I’ve ever made.

beautiful and amazing school!

Choosing to attend Point Loma was the best decision I ever made. It's on the beach and you can literally climb down the cliffs and go swimming! Some professors are definitely super hardcore, but I have had others who don't even take attendance. The caf isn't horrible it just gets old. Chapel may be a drag for some people but it is what you make it.

I love this place and I'll cry when I leave, because I can't even handle going home for a weekend. This place is perfect.

I am a Family and Consumer Sciences major and LOVE my department and my major. The professors take time to get to know you. As a freshman I went to a professional conference in San Francisco with my FCS professors. It was AWESOME!

As a parent of a Graduate student from PLNUs first year PA program I am completely shocked by how poor of an experience this program delivered. This program exhausted every effort it had to silence its students including with the threat of dismissal. What a shame this school is.
Overall 1.5
Coming to this school is the biggest mistake of my life. Since coming here I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. The social aspect of this school is terrible. You don't matter unless you're a science major. If you're not a science major, good luck feeling like you belong.
Overall 2
Terrible terrain results in getting anywhere becoming a hike. You have vehicles going up and down said hills with no concern for pedestrians. Internet is only stable in library. Cafeteria might as well be a DMV. Tons of clubs but no activity. The only good thing about the campus really is the library as it's the only place with stable temperature.
Overall 2
Social life is sketchy. Campus is completely dead on weekends. Professors are nice, but school could use some more connections and hook ups with professionals in the area. The internet can be fantastic in one area and then one step later be completely gone. There are a lot of people who put on a face to seem religious.
