Student and Staff Numbers

  • Students: The enrollment numbers provided for Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) as a whole are not specific to the Strait Area Campus. However, the total number of students enrolled in certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, and graduate certificate programs across all NSCC campuses as of October 1, 2024, is approximately 11,052. The overall anticipated enrollment for the full academic year is over 20,000 students. Therefore, without specific data for the Strait Area Campus, we can only provide a range based on the total enrollment across all campuses: **11,052 to 20,000**
  • Undergraduates: The specific enrollment number for undergraduate students at the Strait Area Campus of Nova Scotia Community College is not provided in the given sources. However, the total enrollment for the 2023-24 academic year at NSCC is 10,861 students, and it is anticipated that over 18,000 students will be welcomed through the College's full suite of offerings. Therefore, an approximate range for the Strait Area Campus would be a portion of the total enrollment, but a precise number is not available. **Approximate Range: 1,000 - 3,400** (based on the total enrollment and the specific enrollment at the Marconi Campus in Sydney, which is part of the same network)
  • Administrative Staff: The information provided does not specify the exact number of administrative staff at the Nova Scotia Community College: Strait Campus. However, the organizational chart for NSCC includes various administrative roles, but it does not provide a specific count for the Strait Area Campus alone. Therefore, I can only provide a range based on the general organizational structure of NSCC, which typically includes multiple administrative positions per campus. Given the complexity and the lack of specific data for the Strait Area Campus, it is reasonable to estimate that there are at least 10 to 20 administrative staff members, but this is highly speculative and not definitively stated in the sources. Thus, the best answer I can provide is: **10-20**

Overall 1.5
Not worth attending. If you think adults have their stuff together you have come to the wrong place. Be prepared for bad lectures, unfair marking (those who don't hand an assignment in get 100%), no feedback (you get assigned a mark after you've already written your final exam). Don't come here if you want to take Marine Engineering or Navigation.
