I love NWOSU! The main campus is located in Alva, which is a very friendly little town in Northwest Oklahoma. The campus is absolutely beautiful with it's well manicures lawns and well preserved vintage facilities. I love it here! The campuses in Enid and Woodward are also very nice, and highly recommended! Great school, great professors, A+!
Overall 4.4
NWOSU is absolutely amazing. Only cons is there is not much to do in Alva and the food on campus needs some work. I am so glad I chose NWOSU as my home for college. It has opened so many opportunities for me and I have met so many amazing people. The professors and all the faculty are all so willing to help you succeed and help you in any way! RRR!
Overall 4.4
Great campus and professors. Everyone is so kind and great at responding in a timely manner. Small town so there is nothing to do. Café is not the greatest but the omelettes and stir fry are pretty good. Plenty of opportunities at this campus.

School out in the middle of nowhere. Small school nothing to do. School doesn't provide much social events. Dorms are gross. Transfered out of there only after a semester.
Overall 1.8
like most schools in Oklahoma it has old still feeling to it. it inst he biggest school so and they do try their best with what they have. but with the low cost tuition it basically makes up for everything else . here to getting and undergrad with out 20k in debt

Alva is in the middle of nowhere. Everyone will know where you are and what your doing at all times. Nothing to do but go to walmart and the night light. (the only club/bar/tin building in town)
Overall 1.9
I have never had a worse educational experience than coming to this school. Financial Aid office and the school executives (anyone who isn't a teacher) misuse their power whenever they can. Athletes are treated well, the rest of us students are treated like we're worthless. The school doesn't listen to students at all. I'll be leaving asap.
Overall 2
Lots of corruption in the desolate town of Alva as well as the NWOSU administration. Some programs (science, education) are pretty good, but fin. aidbusiness departments will screw you whenever the opportunity arises. The saying "it's not what you know, but who you know.." applies to the max here. Rich donorstheir friends get anything they want.
