Good reviews
Overall 4.7
It is a great place for dual-enrollment. Get the first two years done here because either way you need to take the general classes so come here, it's cheaper. The only thing that needs improvement are the buildings and bathrooms. They need to be remodeled. Advisors are willing to help but don't know everything. You have to do your own research.
Overall 4.4
If you're coming here for the basics you made a great choice! It is filled with numerous staff that are amazing!
Overall 4.4
Most beautiful Community College campus in the NC Community College System with a great history!
Overall 4.2
Great financial aid officers, two great locations, very affordable, awesome scholarships opportunities. I am currently at NCSU and the advisors at Mitchell were so much better than these advisor here at NC State.
Overall 4.2
Mitchell Community College offers diversity and acceptance hand in hand with a strong education. I am a non-traditional student, and I could not be happier with my decision to attend MCC; it's been the best decision of my life! Several different ways to get involved in extra curricular activities, strong business program, and strong professors! A++

The campus is beautiful and staff is excellent. A great place to start or continue college education.

Great school for getting your prerequisites
Overall 4
Great teachers, just wish there were more books in the library.

Overall a good school. Many different types/races/creeds attend and get along (for the most part). Most of the instructors seem to actually care how well their students are understanding the material. I keep in touch with several of my former instructors on a personal level.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.4
I feel like I am back at high school here. The instructors are subpar. The programs are not preparing you for entry level work.
Overall 1.5
None.
Overall 1.7
Parking situation is unbelievably atrotious. I have attended 3 other colleges including UNCC where the parking is historically bad and Mitchell is far worse. The administrators tell you, "You need to get here earlier to find a parking space." WTF? How does that solve the problem of not enough parking for the number of students enrolled?
Overall 1.8
Terrible school. Good if it is your only option but the advising system is terrible there is not really a place to eat on campus other than the vending machine. The book store is lame. Good luck finding parking. I received 8 parking tickets in 2 years because at 10am classes there is no parking. They wont build more because it is a historical area.

I hated going to this school. I did my EMT certificate through here and part of my associates degree. The Emt class was sub par but most of the class failed and never went on to getting jobs. The classes SUCKED. I didnt learn anything, my professors were trash and my classes filled with high schoolers. I would never go back here
