Amazing all around
Overall 5
There is a reason this university is so respected for undergraduate teaching. The faculty is fantastic and knowledgeable! The history of this school runs deep, and it has an insanely successful alumni system. It has a gorgeous campus and is overall a quintessential American university.

This campus is beautiful in the fall. Everyone was super nice and accepting!!! There was a Starbucks right by my dorm which was amazing!!! The ropes course is super fun, and the gym is the best! The food here was great - I love the brownies- and very conveniently located! I love the big field outside the farmers school as well! Go RedHawks!!!

Great school that is very safe!
Overall 4.8
Miami is such a fantastic school. It has a great vibe, since it is in a college town. There is a lot of activities to partake in on the weekends, as well as plentiful clubs to join.
Overall 4.8
Coming to Miami was one of the best decisions I ever made. Supportive environment, great balance between school and social life. Flexible curriculum that allows for major changes, double majors, minors, and study abroad without going over 4 years of school. Beautiful campus, good dorms, full college experience energy.
Overall 4.8
Loved it here at Miami U the weather does get cold here but the campus is beautiful and the teachers are good my neighbor Rachel actually graduated from Miami U and when I was looking into colleges she told me to check it out so I did and I fell in love were from New York about 8 hours from Miami U but its so worth it

This place truly feels like home, I love it.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.2
This university is absolutely a joke. Some classes have 200+ students per section, therefore you don't get to interact with professors one-on-one, ever. The admins try everything they could to screw the faculty and milk the students for money while staying on crazy salaries themselves. The dynamics at Miami is extremely toxic. Avoid at all costs.
Overall 1.4
This school just care about your money and it doesn’t consider your effort to study hard. Also they treat you like garbage just because they need to always have the last word.
Overall 2
While I love the academic areas, and there are several options for Greek life, everyday felt like high school. Most students at Miami hold those same petty values equivalent to a midwest high school, up until they become seniors. The underclassmen are unbearable and horrifically clichy. If you're a picky eater, do. not. attend. here.
Overall 2
Pick somewhere else. By senior year, you'll most likely feel like you've just wasted four years and you will not feel ready for the real world (especially if you go to Farmer).
