Cuesta College has been nothing short of transformative. The unwavering dedication of the faculty, the pristine facilities, and the abundant resources all work harmoniously to create an environment that breeds success.Cuesta College is the place to be. It's not just an institution; it's a catalyst for turning aspirations into achievements.

Cuesta is a great school, I had a great two years here. The teachers and counselors are very nice and knowledgable.

Wonderful school! I took classes on the SLO campus. Everyone at the school is really friendly, and the professors are outstanding. The counseling services were helpful and available when needed. I highly recommend it.

Ive attended multiple California Community Colleges, and I must say that Cuesta College was one of my favorites. The staff were all friendly and sent my transcripts to the four year universities I was applying to very quickly. The only downside to Cuesta College was that we had to pay fees before joining classes. Too much commitment!

cuesta is LIT!!!
Overall 4.8
cuesta is a great school. I am a single mother, and the EOPS office has truly helped me in so many ways. The professors are great. Admissions, counseling, financial aid, campus police, cashier office, all have very positive and helpful staff.
Overall 4.3
Beautiful campus, trees and greenery everywhere, really makes coming to school even more enjoyable.

Great area (:
Overall 4.2
Cuesta is really a beautiful campus. I prefer the North County Campus better because the staff seems friendlier and its much smaller, which is nice. I know this school gets great funding so it would be greatly appreciated if they could put more money towards the CAFETERIA!!! Too many students agree that the food is pretty bad
Overall 4.1
Cuesta is known for its good education at a very low price, and if you're like me and attended right after graduation at a local HS, the first 2 years are free. A lot of the campus is still dated but there appears to be renovations underway so that may change. Beautiful, green campus. Beware:Only access besides a car is by the city bus.

Cuesta College's professors do nothing to connect with students. I'm not sure if any of my professors know my name. Cuesta college is in a very secluded area, and the cafeteria is ALWAYS closed. I get straight A's, and I did all throughout high school, but there is no motivation at this place for me to get better than a C. No support whatsoever!!!!

It is an awful place to go to school. The San Luis Obispo area is getting worse by the day. I and everyone I know seems completely miserable and wants to leave ASAP. Don't go here if you still have the chance to change your mind :)
Overall 1
library internet is slow, few computers. its open and not much privacy or comfort, surrounded by tables of people studying as you expect in a library. the best things about the library are study rooms, peace and quiet in the private rooms at the beginning of the semester. the cafeteria is overpriced and not much variety. veterans office was poor
Overall 1.1
Cuesta leaves me in a somber mood. I feel unsafe here as it is so close to the prison and isolated from San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. The professors are harsh and haven't inspired me. Also, the internet in the communications area doesn't work at all and I couldn't present my slideshow at school and got a lower grade. A very sad school :(
Overall 1.1
Cuesta College unfortunately is a huge let down. You'd think that such a nice area would have nice teachers. However, they some how happened to hire all the burn outs who hate teaching and aren't very good at it! What makes a good teacher is their teaching curriculum not their achievements!
Overall 1.3
No one talks to each other, we're in the middle of no where, the counselors are rude and unhelpful, and quite frankly I don't think they care about the students at all. I can't wait to leave. Hancock ?????
Overall 1.8
boring campus, very small hardly any people at all
Overall 1.9
This school really isn't that great. Kind of sucks the life out of you after a while. People here seem unhappy. There are a lot of good professors but at the same time a lot of really bad professors. I mean this school had to fight a long time for its accreditation Campus is in a good area though and it's right next to slo.
Overall 2
I'm sure you may experience the same as any other community college but the counselors continuously give students incorrect information and each time you see a different one they will tell you something new and say the one you spoke to previous has no idea what they're talking about. You will recieve little help from most of the teachers.
