Columbia State Community College is an awesome college to attend.
Overall 4.5
Columbia State is exactly what you make it. Most of the instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and truly want the students to do well. I heard there is a new club Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury! This will be a great addition along with the leadership club already there. CSCC is just that - a community .
Overall 4.3
I have really enjoyed my time here at Columbia State. I think it's a great school that offers endless opportunities for everyone. I highly recommend this college because of the quality of the education offered, and the small town feeling.
Overall 4.2
I LOVE Columbia State and am so proud to be called an alumnus! The faculty cares about students and wants to accommodate and see you succeed. GO HERE. I am happy that I came here before transferring to a four-year.
Overall 4.2
I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 years spent at Columbia State at the Franklin campus! Very safe, awesome location, and great new buildings. Do your research, and you'll have great professors. Tom Hallquist is an exceptional teacher, who deeply cares about his students. I took the effort upon myself to meet people, and have made some incredible friends!
Overall 4.2
There is a lot of construction going on right now so therefor getting around has been challenging, but other than that everything is great! The staff is very helpful!

(Williamson Campus) CS has a gorgeous campus. It’s always very clean and the outdoor areas never have any litter. All my teachers were respectful of us and our struggles through covid. They really valued our education which isn’t always the case in a 2 year program. Disability services are fantastic and helped me to advocate for my needs.
Overall 4.1
Its a great, affordable school!

Good but tuff classes and most classes will transfer to surrounding 4 year colleges.teachers provide lots of hands on experiences

Just about everyone is willing to help you if you just ask for it. I love the college and most instuctors.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
Terrible school. Cost is cheap but you get what you pay for . You have to figure everything out yourself . Most teachers suck very few have phds . Alot of classes don't transfer. English department always change their minds and some teachers have impossible standards
Overall 1.3
Not only are the professors lacking in there fields. The Financial Aid office is horrible. they have had a complete turn over in leadership 3 times in 6 months! The President is more interested in painting the walls 'peaceful colors' than listening to the students.
Overall 1.5
The school is a shack. Sadly you really get what you pay for. The Franklin campus is one that needs to be knocked down. Some of the instructors need to go with it. There are a few great teachers that we are blessed to have there! But if you cannot take the drive to the main campus, then say goodbye to your options. We are VERY limited here.

only 2 people answer phones for financial aid and records for 5 campuses. majority of the teachers suck but some are really good. they dont tell you anything . graduation rate is around 14% transfer out rate is about 15% which means only 29% either graduate or transfer out and the remander drops out so it is definately a dropout factory.
Overall 1.7
I do not see many people graduate from here. Many of the teachers here have been around for a while but are not worth two dimes. The higher up staff just couldn't break their hearts to let them go. Take the easiest teachers first. Like mega easy like Flagg then get to know the campus before you just dive in.
Overall 1.7
They love to switch things without notice. They will delete you from the classes without notice too. They are showing pretty poor quality.
Overall 1.9
None.
Overall 2
The staff is incompetent. They have screwed up every single imaginable thing they have tried to handle. I can see why TN's graduation rate is so abysmally bad, with schools like these. The whole process has been a nightmare and 1/2 my professors have been apathetic, ignoring my questions and not teaching.
