Love this college!

Amazing college with excellent and caring professors!
Overall 5
I’ve had amazing teachers at CSM. All faculty and employees put students first and put everything into helping you succeed.
Overall 5
CSM is underrated. On average, I traveled 4 hours a day to CSM and back by Bicycle, Bus, and Caltrain from SF just because of the student life and resources CSM offers. CSM is known for certain subjects, including fire, one of the best in the country, and accounting because PWC comes to hire at CSM over Skyline and Canada College.

This is an excellent place to begin your college education. There are great teachers who really help you to learn and succeed. This campus is clean and safe and it is in a very good neighborhood. People are friendly and students help each other and study together. The College of San Mateo is a great place to go to college.

CSM was awesome. When I transferred to a competitive UC school, I felt prepared for the rigors of my upper division coursework. I saved a lot of money by attending CSM and then transferring to a 4 year school. I found the professors at CSM more approachable, than the professors at university. A good quality education can be found at CSM.

I've since transferred but I didn't realize how great CSM was when I was there. There's plenty to get involved in, really passionate students, gorgeous campus, and overall just a great place to be. The professors helped prepare me for success at the next level so 15/10 recommend! There's a planetarium too (and pre-COVID, there were free shows)

One of the best views ever! Amazing and relaxing campus. All staff are so eager to help!

Bad teachers especially professor Geri Lamble
Overall 1.1
This prof is a complete self inflated ego maniac.Immature and only here for themselves and their precious ego, rather than for students.Unfortunately you cannot avoid this “prof” and they play favorites. This is a theme in this prog and if it had any integrity, they would remove this professor. Sadly the lack of integrity starts at the director

Avoid Jessie for maternity if possible
Overall 1.6
Guidance isn't much help and they're quite rude. Needs more social clubs.
Overall 1.7
A community college with the bare minimum for clubs and social. Professors are part-timers (and it shows). Classes are not hard, but don't really prepare you for a four year either.
Overall 1.8
School was okay.
Overall 1.9
Great location. The school doesn't invest much in anything beyond driving students to it. It shows.
Overall 2
An average community college in a very expensive neighborhood.
Overall 2
Location is nice. That's about it.
