I think this school is great. The staff and teachers are all very involved. It's hard to find that. This school is very flexible and resourceful. I love being a student here.

Coastal is a great school with great teachers. It is good to see the instructors are all willing to help you succeed. I would recommend this school to anyone. But as I'm reading some of the other ratings, some people are really upset over the food. Sorry Coastal isn't a 5-Star restaurant. Stop crying and pack your own lunch.

All the staff are super nice and professional. They really care about your success!
Overall 4.5
Classes are generally easy to sign up for as long as you don't wait til the last minute. The school is convenient with online and seated classes available, and makes finishing up my Associate's easy! The campus is laid out nicely and they have good hours for getting whatever you need done. I will miss it when I graduate.
Overall 4.5
This is a great school! They offer lots of free help to students like free textbook borrowing and printing in the library on top of free math/science tutoring and peer study groups. The campus is always in top shape and has overhangs everywhere so you don't need to worry about rain. The cafeteria doesn't have much variety but the salads are cheap.
Overall 4.5
This school is amazing! So many resources to help you succeed, I am beyond thankful I came to this school! The professors are amazing, and the staff in the library, math lab, and writing center will do whatever they can to enhance your education. They have mini fairs, clubs, special events, theres always something to do.
Overall 4.5
I love the student teacher interaction and how the professors cover the material so that you can relate to it.

Awesome community college!

I've never been to a school like CCCC. From my academic advisor to my Financial Aid advisor to my professors, everyone truly helped me in some way. The faculty's willingness to help guide you is non like any other. I am sad that I will be leaving this school, I am a better student because of the influence CCCC's faculty had on me.
Overall 4.3
Parking is AWFUL, I would get there about 30 minutes before class if you take morning classes. There are many school events, different educational programs, and services. Love the professors. Great School.

This school is a mess. The teacher's dont really teach you at all. You teach yourself. They just tell you to study the book and do the test's. You're pretty much on your own. The lack of feedback if you ask a question at at the student center is terrible. They can't answer any question. We need hands on learning and polite people in this school.

The school is very strict with everything. I transfered from a University because my husband is a Marine, and it is a lot more strict than any University. Class is mandatory or you will be dropped, and they are strict of cell phone use in class.
Overall 1.3
No assistance from d.chairs when a teacher behaves out of line, office staff is rarely helpful- the registrars office is the worst. Most of the faculty and staff are completely rude.A rare occasion when you find a decent, responsible teacher, for the most part teachers do whatever they want and just collect a paycheck.
Overall 1.3
Provide on-line registration and a child development center for those who need care for their children while they attend classes. This campus is next to one of the biggest Marine Corps bases in the country, request for Federal Funding to make this happen.
Overall 1.4
Needs to put media technology into use by having students register on-line instead of having a ridiculous in-person appointment to register.
Overall 1.5
The school is literally there for people to get in and get out. They expect everyone to be military or married and with a career so there are no clubs or ways of getting involved in the community to help get you into a university or further your career opportunities with experience.
Overall 1.7
Parking is horrible. Advisors are not excited to help/assist you. All of the Admissions and Student Services faculty act like they have no information on ANYTHING. The only good in this school is the UNCW extension program and the Veterans Faculty workers.
