Overall 4.3
An awesome school that really cares about its kids. Ample opportunities available to you if you choose to take advantage of them, as a Fortune 500 mecca, every company recruits Carlson kids the hardest out of any other school in the region. Spots are very limited to break into elite careers such as Investment Banking or Management Consulting.
Overall 4.3
Coming from a community college experience previously, this school has changed everything for me. Besides the kick-ass professors, there are constant opportunities to practice job searching, interview, and networking skills. Things I never would have had access so had I not chosen to attend. They have an over 95% job placement rate for a reason.
Overall 4
Highly respected locally, decent nationally. Minneapolis is a great city but the weather is awful. Many opportunities for internships and high job placement. Nice buildings and plenty of resources. Education is solid, not stellar-very much depends on class (studying something useful helps-management classes are waste of time). Access to greater U.
Overall 4
Professors at Carlson (or 80% of them) are outstanding. They are all extremely intelligent, experienced, and care about their students; you can tell they want you to succeed. There are quite a few food options around the area, but nothing super special. So many job and intern opportunities come from this school if you're willing to put in the work
Overall 4
I transferred to this school and am so impressed. They give you so many tools for success, so many networking opportunities, and an excellent relationship with the Minneapolis business community. Carlson has a great reputation and is recruited from heavily. The professors are fantastic and are accomplished business people with connections.
