So far the experience here has been better than my other university I have gone to. The majority of professors really enjoy teaching and there are a lot of social opportunities here as well.

Living in Southern California and attending a very supportive department (English) that's both affordable and has some of the most amazing professors. Just good!

This university is the worst and has the most terrible advisors, especially under my department which is FACS. Apart from that the advisors don't do their job, they will misguide you and you'll have to make decisions that'll affect your graduation date. I wish I would have transferred to another school but it's too late I'm a senior now.

no good services.
Overall 1.6
Not going to say my entire experience at CSUN was poor, but the majority of it was. I had only 2 professors I liked, poor food options, faculty often had attitudes + unhelpful, joined the Blues Project (a program for suicide prevention) and the coordinator steven wang was so awful I had a mental health crisis of my own. Im glad its over.
Overall 1.6
Faculty likes to keep things closed-off and elitist. Whos gonna tell them they teach at csun ? Also Im pretty sure theres not a single club thats active lol
Overall 1.8
God awful campus, with the least attentive staff on planet Earth. Get ready to be sent to 4 different offices as you're re-directed by staff with your one simple question, only to land at the first one you started at. Professors do the bare minimum, and show very little passion for the academics and success of their students. Don't waste your money
Overall 1.8
As a 4.0 student, I can confidently say that I hate this school. I spend thousands of dollars of my own money (no financial aid) every semester, and get zero back from the university. I can't get any guidance since there is only one advisor for the entire psych dept and he isn't very helpful. I need grad school guidance and can't find any at CSUN..
Overall 2
This is my second semester at CSUN. Complete lack of organization and adequate faculty. They hire many professors(out of country) who can barely speak English to teach complicated subjects. Counseling department took one week to even respond to me. I had better experience at a community college than CSUN and learned more in-depth concepts.

Worst teachers I've ever had in life, not because they're dumb but full of disdain. they treat Transfer Students like garbage- you will have to figure out everything on your own, they will advise you to take the wrong courses spending money like it grows on trees. Their online portals and systems are archaic. This is a low-value state school
