Good reviews
Overall 4.2
I could not be happier with CIIS! The professors are incredible, the classes are meaningful and transformative, and the community is full of diverse, amazing individuals of all ages. It is a place for people who want to LEARN (not just get a degree) and to TRANSFORM both themselves and the world around them.
Overall 4.1
Statistically the students of CIIS have the highest passing rate of the MFT licensing exam. This is due to the great teachers at this school. They actually care about their students and what they are teaching. It is definitely challenging, emotionally and academically, but I feel I have become a better person professionally and personally.
Overall 4
Though this school is small, and mostly geared toward graduate studies, if you are interested in alternative medicine or holistic wellbeing, it's definitely the most cutting edge school. The faculty that I encountered were always committed to the wellbeing of the students.
Bad reviews

Professors are not very good.
Overall 1.8
This school is a mess! They lost accreditation and recently ( within the last four years Unless you are really digging in what the school is worth instead of looking at paid advertising of school rating you will be have an eye opening once you attend. The teachers are very disorganized, some disrespectful and many staff unresponsive.
Overall 2
I have had a very troubling experience with CIIS. The program that I'm in is antisemetic, particularly two professors. After a year, I went to the school and it was handled poorly. They supported and protected the professors and not me, the Jewish student.
