Solution

Uma can rectify the problem in the following ways:

  1. While the chart is selected, she can go to the field list and drag the fields between the Legends fields and axis fields. This will swap the legend and x-axis.

  2. While the chart is selected, she can go to the Analyze tab in the ribbon and navigate to Switch Row/Column Data. This will swap the data in the rows and columns, which may rectify the problem.

  3. She can also right-click on the chart and navigate to Select Data, click on it and an option to Switch Row/Column will be found. This is another way to swap the data in the rows and columns.

  4. Lastly, while the chart is selected, she can go to the Design tab in the ribbon and navigate to Switch Row/Column Data. This is another way to swap the data in the rows and columns.

Remember, she may need to try more than one of these solutions to fix the problem, as it depends on how the chart was initially set up.
