Select an organization, that you believe has a strong mission and describe why you believe it does.

The organization I have chosen is Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières). This is an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization (NGO) of French origin best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases.

The mission of Doctors Without Borders is to provide aid to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. They provide this help irrespective of race, religion, creed, or political convictions.

I believe they have a strong mission for several reasons:

1. Universality: Their mission is not limited to a specific group of people or a specific region. They aim to provide help wherever it's needed most.

2. Neutrality: They provide help irrespective of race, religion, creed, or political convictions. This neutrality allows them to operate in regions where other organizations may not be able to.

3. Focus on Urgent Aid: Their mission is focused on providing aid to people whose survival is threatened. This means they often operate in very challenging conditions to provide immediate relief.

4. Independence: While they do accept donations, they strive to maintain as much independence as possible to ensure that they can provide aid where it's most needed without political interference.

5. Expertise: They are a medical organization, which means they have the expertise to provide immediate, life-saving medical care in situations where such care may not otherwise be available.

For these reasons, I believe Doctors Without Borders has a strong mission.
