Heavy duty boots are good for jobs that typically test the boots quality meaning they really take beeting of the boots and can handle demanding hard environment while lighter duty are more on indoors work like office retails production area stuff. now in your case since you mentioned you like 6" uppers and has a vibram sole, here are my recommendation. 300XOT 6"However this is not the only boots that we can offer, you can go with a customization process and make any taller boots 6" like the superduty/fire inlander boots that are standard 10 uppers but if you go custom boots you can choose 6" for the uppers. feel free to explore our custom boots link below. email response note: we just got a message from our production team about your size. we had a hard time identifying it on your order and let me explain why. Yes you do send us a fitsheet way back and we got your foot and uppers measurements. However since base on that measurements we concluded that your boots size is enough in 6/D and while the boots you order are in 12" uppers and we do not customize uppers in or below 12" only 14" above, meaning we did not follow the uppers measurements on the fit sheet which is "9-23-19". A standard uppers will work for you. If you would like a custom uppers again and order 14" tall uppers, then you wold have to have new measurements taken. but a standard 6/D will work for you Ok thank you very much. If you do have a chance to retrieve the fit sheet, that would be great. If not, I will go off of the 6E size. Thank you,

email response note: we want to inform you that we build our boots the same way. all of our boots has thickness of 9oz leather. if you will see one of our boots built video on our youtube channel we make boots in 2 leather layers. this will give the boots the durabitly that they need. if you just want lighter boots that has the same vibram redx sole, i recommend 300X. I’m a pilot and need boots with flexible tops.Can ya’ll build an OT Pro with the tops from the thinner leather from the 300 boots?
