Which of the types of waves is the slowest?

The slowest types of waves are surface waves. They are mechanical waves that travel along the surface of solids, such as the Earth's crust. These waves include Rayleigh waves and Love waves, both of which are slower than P-waves and S-waves, the other two types of seismic waves. Surface waves are the ones that cause most of the shaking during an earthquake.
