Take a look at the following data set. It shows the number of users that the most popular social media platforms engage in the world, as of January 2022.  Now, find the platform with the highest number of users and the platform with the lowest number of users. Well, the answer is Facebook and Quora, respectively, right? But think about how you came to this conclusion and how much time you spent on it. You had to go through the numbers for all 11 platforms listed above, and match the numbers against one another. Now take a look at the bar graph below. It represents the same information as the table above. Find the third most popular platform and the second least popular one.   The answer is WhatsApp and Reddit, as you may have determined by now. However, the important factor is the time taken to find the answer. It must have been faster than the previous exercise, right? This is the power of data visualization. Another crucial point driven by this example is that visual representation of data presents us with insights, rather than having to go through the entire data set. And, as we all know, data-driven insights are the foundation of business analytics. Let’s learn more about statistical data representation through graphs and charts in the upcoming video.graphs that include either tabulardata into columns or bar charts orPauseUnmuteCurrent Time 0:58/Duration 6:20Loaded: 31.27% 2xPlayback RateCaptionsQuality LevelsPicture-in-PictureFullscreen4988526In the video above, Professor Zadeh explained the importance of data visualization in statistics, and how it is one of the best approaches for descriptive analysis. Also, neither are they exclusive, i.e.,  data sets are not restricted for representation through a single type of graph/chart. The choice for the chart or graph usually depends on the data set available and the type of insights we want to derive from it. Also, choosing the wrong type of graph can often lead to misleading information. In the next segment, we will summarize what you learned in this session.Question 1/3MandatoryGraphical Representation of Statistical DataWhich mode of representation would you choose for the following dataset:The market share of the most popular social media platforms in the world.Bar GraphPie ChartHistogramFrequency Polygon
