Solution

In Act 2 of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Puck, also known as Robin Goodfellow, makes a significant mistake. Oberon, the king of the fairies, orders Puck to apply a love potion to the eyes of a young Athenian man (Demetrius) while he is sleeping, so that he will fall in love with the first person he sees upon waking up. However, Puck mistakenly applies the potion to the eyes of Lysander instead of Demetrius. This error sets off a chain of events that leads to much confusion and comedy in the play.
