Amino Acid Derivative Hormones: These are derived from a single amino acid, either tyrosine or tryptophan. They can be either water-soluble or fat-soluble. Examples include adrenaline (water-soluble) and thyroid hormones (fat-soluble).
Each of these types of hormones has a different mechanism of action due to their different chemical structures.
