Make a list of the times when Jesus used prayer in his ministry.

Jesus Prays in the Wilderness: After His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness where He fasted for 40 days and nights. During this time, He was also praying (Luke 5:16).

Jesus Prays Before Choosing the Twelve Disciples: Before choosing His twelve disciples, Jesus spent the whole night in prayer to God (Luke 6:12-13).

Jesus Prays at His Baptism: When Jesus was baptized, He was praying and heaven was opened (Luke 3:21).

Jesus Prays After Performing Miracles: After a day of performing miracles and healing, Jesus would often withdraw to lonely places and pray (Luke 5:15-16).

Jesus Prays Before Peter’s Confession: Jesus was praying in private and His disciples were with Him (Luke 9:18).

Jesus Prays at the Transfiguration: As He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning (Luke 9:28-29).

Jesus Prays for Little Children: Jesus took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and prayed (Matthew 19:13).

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane: Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. He asked His Father if it was possible, to take the cup of suffering away from Him. Yet, He submitted to God's will (Matthew 26:36-44).

Jesus Prays for His Disciples and All Believers: In John 17, Jesus prays for His disciples and for all believers, asking that they may be one as He and the Father are one (John 17:1-26).

Jesus Prays on the Cross: Jesus prayed to His Father while He was being crucified. He prayed for the forgiveness of those who were crucifying Him (Luke 23:34) and committed His spirit into His Father's hands (Luke 23:46).
