a- ipconfig: This is a command used on Windows platforms that displays the current network configuration of the installed IP stack on a networked computer. This command can be used to find out a lot about your network settings including your IP address, DNS server, DHCP server, etc.

b- netstat: This is a command-line tool that displays network connections (both incoming and outgoing), routing tables, and a number of network interface and network protocol statistics. It is used for finding problems in the network and to determine the amount of traffic on the network as a performance measurement.

c- ping: This is a diagnostic tool used in IP networks to test the reachability of a host on the network and to measure the round-trip time for messages sent from the originating host to a destination computer. The name comes from active sonar terminology that sends a pulse of sound and listens for the echo to detect objects under water.

d- hostname: This command is used to display the host name of the current system under the network. It can also set the hostname of the system.

e- tracert: This is a command-line utility that records and shows the route through the network from the host system to a target system. It also displays the amount of time each hop took to complete. It is a useful tool for understanding the network path and identifying the network latency between two points.
