Measurements used to track the performance of a business process are called process metrics. In every organization this is done is three major categories such are time, quality and cost. In order to evaluate the performance and results of a business process key performance indications (KPIs) are used in different areas of operation. I worked in a factory of a company’s name i will withhold. Phones where not allowed inside the working plane and could only be used either during lunch or short breaks outside the factory. In the beginning i felt was a harsh condition for us employees at the time taking into consideration some had families and an emergency call could come in at any time. My entire narrative on this changed when i was promoted as supervisor because then i understand it was not only for the companies policy but also for the safety of the employees. If employees were allowed their phones inside the factory plant, productivity and focus would be slower and this may have an increase on accident which will be a huge cost for the company at the end of the day. Most process measurements used in organization can be argued by its employees but in any case every company evaluates itself through improvement, accountability and research. This is what every organization willing to grow must use to check and balance if its company is making progress with what is being implemented over the years of its business
