During a parents meeting, the County Children’s Officer talked on factors that can predispose children to live under difficult circumstances.  Explain five factors discussed during the meeting

Poverty: This is a major factor that can predispose children to live under difficult circumstances. When families are unable to provide for their basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, children are forced to live in hardship. They may also be unable to access quality education, leading to a cycle of poverty.

Abuse and Neglect: Children who are subjected to physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, or who are neglected by their parents or caregivers, are likely to live under difficult circumstances. This can lead to a range of problems, including mental health issues, behavioral problems, and difficulty in school.

Parental Substance Abuse: Parents who abuse drugs or alcohol may be unable to provide a safe and stable environment for their children. This can lead to neglect, abuse, and a host of other problems, making life difficult for these children.

Family Breakdown: Divorce, separation, death of a parent, or other forms of family breakdown can lead to children living under difficult circumstances. They may have to deal with emotional trauma, instability, and changes in their living situation, all of which can be very challenging.

Lack of Access to Education: Education is a key factor in breaking the cycle of poverty and improving a child's prospects for the future. However, many children around the world lack access to quality education, due to factors such as poverty, conflict, or discrimination. This can lead to them living under difficult circumstances, both in childhood and later in life.
