Solution

Holland's typology, also known as Holland's Hexagon or Holland's Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional (RIASEC) model, includes the following six categories:

  1. Realistic: These individuals are often practical, physical, hands-on, tool-oriented, mechanically inclined, and stable. They prefer to work with things rather than people.

  2. Investigative: These individuals are often intellectual, introspective, and inquisitive. They prefer to work with ideas and concepts rather than people or things.

  3. Artistic: These individuals are often innovative, imaginative, original, and independent. They prefer to work with ideas and things in a creative way.

  4. Social: These individuals are often cooperative, supportive, empathetic, kind, and generous. They prefer to work with people rather than things.

  5. Enterprising: These individuals are often adventurous, ambitious, assertive, extroverted, energetic, and optimistic. They prefer to work with people and ideas in a leadership role.

  6. Conventional: These individuals are often practical, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient. They prefer to work with data and details rather than ideas.

These categories are used to help individuals understand their interests and skills and how these can be applied to their career choices.
