Here's why:

The duration of a jump is determined by the time it takes for the astronaut to ascend and then descend back to the surface. On Earth, the acceleration due to gravity is about 9.8 m/s². On the Moon, it's about 1.6 m/s², which is approximately 1/6th of the Earth's gravity.

If the initial velocity of the jump is the same in both locations, the time it takes for the astronaut to ascend to the peak of the jump is inversely proportional to the acceleration due to gravity. This means it will take 6 times longer to reach the peak on the Moon than on Earth.

Similarly, the time it takes for the astronaut to descend from the peak back to the surface is also inversely proportional to the acceleration due to gravity. So, it will also take 6 times longer to descend on the Moon than on Earth.
