In Uganda, manufacturing firms are increasingly adopting digital marketing strategies to enhance their performance. However, the impact of digital marketing on the performance of these firms remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the effect of digital marketing on the performance of manufacturing firms in Uganda. It will explore various digital marketing strategies such as social media marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization, and their influence on the firms' sales, customer base, and overall growth. The study will also consider the challenges that these firms face in implementing digital marketing strategies. This problem statement is based on the premise that understanding the impact of digital marketing can help manufacturing firms in Uganda to optimize their marketing strategies and improve their performance (Ainin, Parveen, Moghavvemi, Jaafar, & Mohd Shuib, 2015; Michaelidou, Siamagka, & Christodoulides, 2011).
