  4. Carbon Fixation: In this stage, carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is absorbed by the plant and converted into glucose. This process is known as the Calvin cycle. The ATP and NADPH produced in the previous step provide the energy for this conversion.

  5. Release of Oxygen: The oxygen produced during photolysis is released into the atmosphere. This is the oxygen that we breathe.

  6. Formation of Glucose: The final product of photosynthesis is glucose, which is used by the plant for growth and energy. Some of the glucose is also converted into starch for storage.

These steps together constitute the process of photosynthesis, which is vital for life on Earth as it is the primary source of oxygen and also plays a crucial role in the carbon cycle.
