Solution
Introduction: As we embark on this reflective journey, our aim is to dissect and distill the experiences of our first semester as seniors in the STEM field. This semester was a whirlwind of academic rigor and personal growth, marked by courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and AP Calculus, as well as a myriad of extracurricular activities and significant milestones. As seniors, we entered the semester with high expectations, anticipating a year of academic excellence, leadership roles, and the culmination of our high school journey. However, the reality was a surprising shift. Despite being the oldest in the school and carrying the weight of the senior image, we often found ourselves feeling as though we were still navigating the world as eighth graders, pre-pandemic. This reflection will delve into these experiences, expectations, and the unexpected shifts that shaped our first semester.
