Ethical leadership means both acting ethically and setting the standard for others to do so as well. Leaders have an opportunity to inspire others not only to do the right thing but also to consider the kind of people they want to be.  Integrity: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. To behave in accordance with ethical principles, and act in good faith, intellectual honesty and fairness. Doing the right thing when no one’s watching  Compassion: Compassion is defined as a profound human emotion prompted by the pain of others. More vigorous than empathy, the feeling commonly gives rise to an active desire to alleviate another's suffering. It is often, though not inevitably, the key component in what manifests in our social context as altruism.  Respect: Respect for persons may perhaps be the most fundamental principle in all of ethics. Respect calls on each and every one of us to have due regard towards the intrinsic dignity of all other people. If something is intrinsic to us, it is essential to our being and cannot be earned.  Responsibility: Responsibility is the obligation of an individual to perform the duty or task assigned to him. Ethical responsibility is the ability to recognize, interpret and act upon multiple principles and values according to the standards within a given field and/or context.  Loyalty: Strict and continuing faithfulness to an obligation, trust, or duty. It also signifies a person’s devotion or sentiment of attachment to a particular object, which may be another person or group of persons, an ideal, a duty, or a cause.  Law-Abiding: A law-abiding person always obeys the law and is considered to be good and honest because of this.  Transparency: Transparency is the quality of being easily seen through, while transparency in a business or governance context refers to being open and honest.  Environmental Concerns: It is defined as any change or disturbance to the environment perceived to be deleterious or undesirable. Environmental concerns can be defined as the negative effects of any human activity on the environment.
