Auxiliary Memory: Auxiliary memory, also known as secondary memory or external memory, is a storage medium that holds information until it is deleted or overwritten regardless if the power to the system unit is turned off or not. It is slower and has a larger capacity compared to the primary memory. Examples of auxiliary memory include hard disk drives, flash drives, and CDs. This memory is used for storing a large amount of data permanently or semi-permanently.
