Community Health Nursing is not just about providing direct care to individuals or families, but it also involves assessing the health needs of the entire community, planning and implementing programs to meet those needs, and evaluating their effectiveness. This holistic approach was not something I was aware of before taking this class.

Another key statement I learned is that Community Health Nursing is heavily focused on prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles. This includes educating the community about disease prevention, nutrition, and the importance of regular check-ups and screenings. I was not aware of the extent to which community health nurses are involved in health promotion and education.
